Directions For Use: In order to maximize the many benefits of EnduroBoost Adaptogens, the correct dosages need to be taken. The ideal dosage depends on your body weight and stress levels, but mostly the amount and intensity of your daily physical activity. As the amount of that physical activity may change from day to day, so may your dosage change and go up and down with it. Use the following as a guideline. Please note that the maximum dosage for a non athlete is 6 capsules per day, for an elite athlete ( 4-6 hours of training per day) 20 Capsules per day is a maximum. Taking more than 20 capsules on a daily basis will not improve performance.
General: Children (aged 8-11 years): 1 capsule taken first thing in the morning. Teenagers (aged 12-15 years): 1 - 3 capsules taken first thing in the morning. Normal Adult Daily Dosage (16 yrs +): Take 1 capsule for every 45-50lbs of body weight first thing in the morning. Stressed Adult Daily Dosage (16 yrs +): If heavily stressed at work or going to gym or engaging in light sport (approx 1 hr per day), you may choose to increase your dosage up to 2-3 capsules for every 50-75 lbs of body weight. Those Working at Night (16 yrs +): 1-2 capsules for every 45-50 lbs. of body weight, taken 45-60 min before work. Athletes( 2 or more hours per day): Take the below in additional to your General Dosage above. The doses needed in order to increase the effectiveness of EnduroBoost Adaptogens will depend on your type of sporting event, its intensity and duration. Rest Days: To assist recovery take 2-3 capsules for every 50-75 lbs. of body weight first thing in the morning. Training Days:
For Competitions: Morning Only: Take 1-3 Capsules for every 40 - 50 lbs. of body weight one and a half hours before your 1st event. For Afternoon/Evening Only: Take 2 Capsules for every 40 - 50 lbs. body weight one and a half hours before your event. For all day events or Prelims and Finals (Morning and Afternoon/Evening); Take 1-2 capsules for every 40-50lbs of body weight before your first event, then an additional 1-2 capsules for each 40-50lbs before you each subsequent event. Do not exceed 20 Capsules in any day. WARNINGS Do not take EnduroBoost Adaptogens after 3pm unless you are studying, have a training or competition after that, or wish to remain awake at night. If you do note any differences in your ability to fall asleep, take your EnduroBoost Adaptogens earlier in the day or reduce the dosage. P2Life's EnduroBoost Adaptogens may counteract the effects of Coffee. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, have a health condition or are planning a medical procedure, consult your health professional before use of any nutritional or dietary product. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any adverse reactions occur. Discontinue use two weeks prior to surgery. Do not use if inner seal is missing or broken. Keep out of reach of children. Keep bottle tightly closed. Store in a cool dry place. How do I start taking the EnduroBoost Adaptogens? Always start with the low end dosage. This is because everyone reacts differently to different substances. Take coffee for example- some people can take regular coffee and the caffeine will not bother them and they can go straight to sleep. The person next to them- taking the same coffee- might not be able to sleep for hours. Like wise with the Adaptogens. Some people get the full benefits on a small dosage- others may need the maximum dosage to get the same effect How do I know what dosage is right for me? As you can see from the stated dosage possibilities, the suggested amount you may take each day can vary quite widely according to you age, weight and activity levels. This is because the amount of adaptogens you take is based on 2 criteria. First your "general" dose for the general benefits (overall health, anti-stress, anti-fatigue and anti-oxidant) that adaptogens provide. The second part of your dosage depends on how stressed you are, or how much physial activity you do together with the intensity of that physical activity. The more you are stressed, or train (athlete) and the intesity of that training- the more adaptogens you will need. Think of Adaptogens as helping take care of your body, as you would be helping take care of your car. If your car is stationary on the street- it needs nominal care. So if you were also "not active" then the amount of adaptogens you need each day is nominal. But if you drive the car to work 1 hour away- now your car will need more fuel, your tires will wear out sooner and a tune-up needed more often. Likewise the more "active" you are that day- the more adaptogens you need that day. Finally- if you take that car out for a 500 mile race- then it may need new tires, oil change, and several tanks of gas. Likewise the elite athlete needs much higher dosages of the adaptogens. Hope that helps. So Bottom line- you need time to learn what the ideal dosage is for you each day based on your experience using them. What will I feel when I take the Enduroboost Adaptogens? AS adaptogens do NOT interfere with the normal working of the body while providing their benefits- you normally will not feel anything. In that way they are like taking vitamins. However- at the end of the day you may have noticed that you did not fatigue (mentally or physically) like you had done before you started taking the Enduroboost adaptogens But as you increase the and dosage, especially as you learn and take the correct dosage that day for you, what is you may feel is any combination of the following.. You may feel stronger, more focused and in control, less stressed and aftigued, and more confident and ready for whatever may come your way
Why do you take adaptogens first thing in the morning? That is for 2 reasons. First- overnight and while asleep and at rest- your body had its best chance to recover and therefore hopefully wake up refreshed and rejuvenated. As Adaptogens help fight stress and fatigue while helping protect the body- you want to take them when fresh so they can hopefully keep you fresh- fighting the fatigue all day. the second reason is that Adaptogens also fight mental fatigue. that means they may keep you awake at night if you take later in the day. So unless you want to stay awake- we suggest you take your EnduroBoost adaptogens first thing in the morning, or before you train or go to gym.
What happens if I take too many adaptogens? Adaptogens are well known to fight mental and physical fatigue. At the same time a requirement for a plant to be classified as an adaptogen is that it must be completely safe, that is why only 3 plants to date have been universally accepted as being adaptogens. So if you take too many only 2 things have been reported as happening: 1) it may reduce your ability to fall asleep, and 2). you will not be deriving any added benefit. |
